Help Us Help Norway’s Club Scene
Every time you share Clubbing.no, you help organizers, artists and venues reach more people. You also help clubbers discover more electronic music events across Norway.
Norway finally has a national event calendar dedicated to electronic music, and now it’s time to share it with the rest of the country. By sharing Clubbing.no, you can help make the scene more visible and accessible to everyone.
Every week, people create electronic music events across the country. In clubs, warehouses, cultural venues, outdoor spaces and intimate spaces, organizers, artists, venues and volunteers work hard to give people places to meet, dance and experience music together.
But even a great event can only succeed if people know it is happening.
One place to discover the scene
Event information is spread across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Telegram, private groups and countless individual accounts. A post can disappear quickly, and even people who follow an organizer may never see it.
Clubbing.no brings electronic music events from across Norway into one searchable calendar. Clubbers can find events by city, date, genre, venue, organizer and more, then continue discovering events they may never have heard about.
When you share an event page, profile or news story from Clubbing.no, you help people discover more than the content you shared. Someone looking for one party may find another event, a new artist or a venue they never knew existed.
Your link can introduce someone to the wider scene, both nearby and elsewhere in Norway.
Less time chasing algorithms
Social media is still useful and necessary, but it has also created a second job for many people in music. Organizers and artists are expected to be video editors, photographers, designers, content creators and marketing experts, often without knowing who their content will actually reach.
In a 2025 international survey of around 1,200 musicians by the Oxford Internet Institute and the University of Groningen, 69% of respondents said they spent more time promoting their music online than a couple of years earlier.
When content production takes over, it can leave less time for music, artists, sound, lighting, suppliers, safety and creating the best possible experience for the people coming through the door.
Clubbing.no is not meant to replace social media. It gives each event one stable home and one clear link that people can keep sharing.
Social media creates attention. Clubbing.no provides a shared overview.
Help us help the scene
Organizers, venues and artists: Submit your events as soon as the date is confirmed. Add what you know now and update the event as more details become available. The full description, lineup and ticket information can come later. Use the event page as the central link when promoting the event.
If someone else has already submitted your event, you can request editing access. Once approved, you can keep the information up to date yourself.
Keep your artist, venue or organizer profile updated too. Share it alongside your events so people can discover who you are, what you do and where to find you next.
Clubbers: Use the event calendar regularly, share events with friends, post links in relevant groups and tell organizers about Clubbing.no. Invite someone personally and buy tickets early when you can.
Take it beyond the feed: Download our Clubbing.no poster and put it up at your venue, event, workplace or school, wherever you have permission. A poster can reach someone who never sees our posts online and help them find their next dancefloor.
The more people who use and share Clubbing.no, the more valuable it becomes for everyone. More visitors give organizers, artists and venues a better chance of reaching the right audience without carrying the entire promotional job alone.
This only works if we build the habit together.
Use the calendar. Share the link. Invite someone. Show up to events.
Help us help the people who keep Norway dancing.
