We’re very proud to host two local legends - Bendik Baksaas on synthesizers and Thomas Strønen on drums - for a release of the new project they’ve worked on together under the AirChew moniker for the next edition of Tad Club.

Bendik has been one of the biggest supporters and venue’s best friends since we’ve opened our doors for the first time, and we’re always excited to provide him with a platform to perform.

Our resident Catnip will take charge of setting the tone for the night with an opening DJ set.

Negin - a rising talent we’ve been really impressed with, will follow up, rising the energy and getting the dancefloor ready for the main act.

Before the main event, Bendik and Tessa Martin will host an album release, showcasing their collaboration blending sound healing and electronic waves.

The album release will be free of charge, before the ticketed main event.

AirChew plays for the dancefloor.

Pure improvisation, riding the waves of the acoustic drums, samples and modular.

AirChew is live dance music as you’ve never heard it before.

The collected rhythmic expertise of Thomas Strønen (top-of-the-shelf drummer, releasing on ECM before the iPhone) and Ben Bak (underground rave modular hero) makes them an supercouple of the club realm.

Ben & Thomas loves dancing and have been dedicating their lives to the rhythm since day 1.

Open heart, open ears - accepting risk, rejecting fears.

Negin

NEGIN creates deep, hypnotic sets that blend rolling grooves with warm, organic, and easy spacey textures.

Her sound moves between earthy, grounded rhythms and more minimal, atmospheric layers, creating a feeling that is both rooted and expansive.

She maintains a steady, consistent groove throughout her sets while gradually building energy and shaping a natural flow that shifts between deep, hypnotic moments and more driving intensity.

She also brings a playful touch to her selections and transitions, adding a sense of lightness and curiosity within the journey.

For her, it’s all about emotion, presence, and connection—creating a space where people can let go, move freely and fully immerse themselves on the dancefloor.

Catnip

Karol Szechnicki is an Oslo-based DJ, VJ and promoter, whose sets explore the deeper edges of electronic music.

Known for a flexible and intuitive approach, he focuses on shaping selections that respond to the time, space and energy of the room rather than adhering to a single sound.
