DJ Handbag (DE)
DJ handbag is a commanding presence in Berlin’s underground scene, transforming dancefloors into sanctuaries of queer liberation and trans femme power. With deep roots in the city’s nightlife - including a decade at Berghain’s door and harm reduction work with SONAR Berlin, and regular appearances at clubs like Tresor, Renate, OXI and many more. She is a true cult hero of the Berlin underground and the cities queer community.
DJ handbag creates spaces where radical expression meets pure joy, where community forms through rhythm, and the dancefloor becomes collective empowerment.
From Berlin’s underground to international stages, she champions authentic queer electronic music experiences connecting past and present, politics and pleasure, resistance and release.
