From Boiler Room to some of the world's biggest festivals, few artists have had as great an influence on the global music scene as Panjabi Hit Squad. Rav & Dee helped shape an internationally recognised sound and have been at the forefront of South Asian music for several decades.
Their high-energy DJ sets combine Eastern and Western musical expressions, with seamless transitions between house, UK garage, dancehall, amapiano, afrobeat and much more. Whether playing intimate club venues or major festivals, they create a unique atmosphere that fills dance floors around the world. In 2023, they collaborated with Boiler Room on a landmark event in their hometown of Southall, celebrating South Asian music, culture and community. The set has since been viewed over 10 million times on social media and became one of the most streamed mixes on Apple Music. In 2024, the duo sold out their own tours across North America, India, Dubai, Australia and the Netherlands, while also performing at major festivals such as Portola Festival, Lowlands and Sunburn Festival.
With four studio albums, collaborations with artists including Mariah Carey, Ashanti, Beenie Man and Jay Sean, and the distinction of being the first South Asian artists signed to Def Jam, Panjabi Hit Squad continues to build bridges between cultures and push the boundaries of global music.
