About the festival

Festafest is a four-day gathering where music, art, nature and community meet inside an abandoned hydro power station surrounded with nature. The festival is intentionally small and curated, creating an intimate atmosphere where guests, artists and volunteers become part of the same experience.

Artist Residency

During the month leading up to the festival, invited artists live and work at the power plant. They create installations, stage designs and artworks that transform the industrial spaces and shape the identity of each year's festival.

Location

Festafest takes place at Festa Kraftverk, a former hydroelectric power station located in the forest along the river Driva in Oppdal, Norway.

Accommodation

The festival is primarily a camping festival.

Food & drinks

Local food vendors will be present throughout the festival. The festival has licensed bars serving beer, wine and drinks.

Community

Festafest is built on participation and respect. The atmosphere is shaped by everyone attending — artists, volunteers and guests alike.
